Beef Sirloin with Mustard Crust

Following on from our pork and turkey recipes, we’re bringing you this wonderful beef sirloin recipe with a mustard crust.

 

Cooking Method

  1. Remove beef from the packaging and pat dry with a paper towel.
  2. Brush lightly with English mustard, this will help your seasoning to stick to the meat.
  3. Season liberally with salt and pepper, don’t be afraid to be generous.
  4. Insert your meater into the thickest part of the meat.
  5. Preheat your Traeger to 100c and place your beef inside.
  6. Once the internal temp reaches 45c, increase the temperature to 200c to sear the outside.
  7. Remove from heat when internal temp reaches 53c
  8. Slice and enjoy.

  • Beef Sirloin
  • Bread of your choice
  • 2 tbsp English Mustard
  • Salt
  • Pepper

What to serve with Beef Sirloin?

Our beef sirloin pairs perfectly with Spanish Style Potatoes. Here’s how you can make them.

  1. Preheat the oven to 180c.
  2. Cut 1 large onion, 4 peeled potatoes and 4 tomatoes into equal size pieces.
  3. Place veg in a bowl and coat with a tbsp of olive oil.
  4. Season with meat dust (or similar seasoning)
  5. Place veg into a cast iron pan, place into oven.
  6. Remove after 30 mins or when veg has browned.
